Beginners are welcome and may wish to watch the videos on the website for supplies and basic techniques. \nIf you are a beginner please notify me and request basic instruction at the first class. Beginners will work on basics first or a smaller version sometimes with simpler options choices for techniques.  A supply list is available by email  if requested. DESCRIPTION:Painting Ceramic Tiles Event Dec 17th from 1-3pm at Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill.  This is a fun and creative  event for participants to design and paint their own unglazed 6 X 6 tiles. All materials are supplied as well as optional stencils and templates for inspiration (or create yor own design) in a relaxed\, social atmosphere.  All skill levels are welcome.  Some refreshment will be provided or you may bring your own. The tiles may be taken home to cure for a couple of weeks and a sample of varnish will be provided to add a shine and protection so that you can use your tile as something functional such as a teapot stand or just display as is.

DESCRIPTION:Tuesday Watercolour Oct-Dec 2024  Seven Weeks  at the Meridian Community Centre Fonthill – Adult watercolour classes for beginners and intermediates.  We will explore techniques\, colour theory and value changes in a variety of subjects. Each painting is usually completed in 2-3 weeks. Beginners are welcome and may wish to watch the videos on the website for supplies and basic techniques. Contact by e-mail or text if you have questions. Beginners will work on a smaller version sometimes with simpler options choices for techniques. Reference material and sketches are supplied (a choice of subjects and references is provided and participants choose by majority vote which one we paint ) or you may bring your own subject for those with experience who wish to work on their own subject with guidance.  Please bring your own supplies including water containers and paper towels.
